Manufacturing & Quality Control
How ZONESUN Packaging Machinery Is Manufactured, Tested and Prepared for Delivery
Reliable packaging machinery depends on engineering evaluation, component preparation, mechanical assembly, electrical integration, machine adjustment, sample testing, inspection, and shipment preparation — not just final appearance.
ZONESUN packaging machinery is manufactured by Guangdong Shanghang Technology Co., Ltd. at our facility in Foshan, Guangdong, China, supporting standalone machines, customized equipment, and integrated automated production lines.
Manufacturing Facility — Foshan, China
Our 8,600+ m² facility supports the full production cycle: component processing and fabrication, mechanical assembly, electrical cabinet wiring, PLC/HMI/sensor integration, pneumatic-system installation, conveyor integration, machine commissioning, customer-sample testing, functional inspection, and shipment preparation.
Quality Control Throughout Production
Inspection and verification are incorporated at every stage — not only after final assembly. The workflow follows:
Engineering Review → Component Preparation → Mechanical Assembly → Electrical Integration → Machine Adjustment → Functional Testing → Sample Testing → Final Inspection → Packaging → Shipment
For customized projects, additional testing or modifications may be required based on the customer's products and packaging materials.

1. Engineering Review
Before manufacturing begins, the project configuration is reviewed against the customer's application — covering product characteristics, viscosity or flowability, filling volume, container dimensions, closure type, label specifications, production capacity, factory layout, voltage requirements, and automation level. This determines whether a standard machine is suitable or whether customized components, molds, or control functions are required.
Customers should provide accurate samples and production information before configuration confirmation. Changes to bottles, caps, labels, or materials may affect the final machine design.

2. Component Preparation
Before and during assembly, relevant components are checked according to the machine configuration — including machine frames, machined parts, motors, pumps, pneumatic cylinders, sensors, PLC/HMI components, electrical cabinets, conveyors, filling nozzles, capping heads, labeling mechanisms, sealing components, and customized molds.
Component brands and specifications may vary by machine model and project requirements. Specifically required brands should be confirmed in the quotation or technical agreement.
3. Mechanical Assembly
Technicians install and integrate the mechanical structure, transmission components, motors, pumps, pneumatic parts, conveyors, adjustment mechanisms, guards, and application-specific modules. Attention is given to alignment, moving-part clearance, conveyor connection, guide-rail adjustment, fastener condition, and changeover accessibility.
For complete production lines, individual machines are also positioned and connected to ensure smooth container transfer between processes.

4. Electrical & Control-System Integration
Depending on the equipment configuration, electrical integration covers cabinet wiring, motor and drive connections, PLC programming, HMI parameter settings, sensor installation, emergency-stop circuits, alarm functions, pneumatic-control signals, conveyor coordination, no-container detection, no-fill/no-cap control, and interlocks between connected machines.
For customized production lines, control logic also coordinates multiple machines and manages product flow between packaging stages.
5. Machine Adjustment & Commissioning
After assembly and electrical integration, the machine is adjusted for its intended application — conveyor speed, guide-rail width, filling volume and speed, nozzle height, capping pressure, label-sensor settings, sealing temperature and time, film tracking, PLC timing, and coordination between machines.
Parameters set during factory testing may still require adjustment after installation, as the customer's production environment, materials, and operators can affect machine operation.

6. Customer-Sample Testing
Testing with actual customer samples is especially important for customized projects. Customers may be asked to provide products, containers, closures, labels, films, premade pouches, cartons, or finished-product samples.
Sample testing evaluates material compatibility, container conveying stability, filling performance, capping stability, label application, sealing condition, and production-line coordination. It does not replace the customer's own product-quality, regulatory, or packaging-integrity validation.
7. Functional Testing by Machine Type
Filling Machines
Filling operation, volume adjustment, nozzle movement, drip control, container detection, and filling repeatability under test conditions.
Capping Machines
Cap feeding, placement, bottle positioning, capping-head operation, closure appearance, and continuous cap-and-bottle transfer. Final torque and seal integrity should be validated using the closure supplier's requirements and the customer's own QC methods.
Labeling Machines
Label feeding, sensor response, application position, wrinkle/bubble condition, container positioning, and continuous operation. Actual results can be affected by label material, adhesive, container surface, and environmental conditions.
Sealing & Packaging Machines
Temperature control, sealing time, pressure, film/pouch feeding, cutting operation, package appearance, and continuous operation. Seal integrity should be confirmed by the customer using a suitable testing method.
Integrated Production Lines
Container transfer, conveyor coordination, accumulation and spacing, sensor communication, operating sequence, upstream/downstream interlocks, emergency-stop response, and continuous line operation.

8. Final Inspection & Pre-Shipment Confirmation
After adjustment and testing, the machine undergoes final inspection covering general appearance, mechanical and electrical functions, pneumatic systems, conveyor movement, sensor response, control-panel operation, safety guards, emergency-stop functions, accessories, voltage requirements, and overall trial operation.
For customized projects, the final review is based on the confirmed quotation, technical agreement, layout, and sample requirements. Test videos can be provided to help customers review the equipment before shipment. If specific test procedures, measurements, or acceptance documents are required, these should be agreed upon before testing.
9. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
A FAT may be arranged for customized equipment and integrated production lines when included in the project agreement. Scope may include configuration confirmation, component review, function verification, sample testing, production-line sequence, safety checks, output observation, and review of accessories and technical documents.
Acceptance criteria, test materials, duration, measurement methods, and responsible parties should be confirmed before the FAT begins. Actual production performance after installation may differ from factory test results if materials, packaging components, or operating parameters change.
10. Protective Packaging & Shipment Preparation
After passing inspection, the machine is prepared for transportation — surface cleaning, protective wrapping, moisture protection, securing of moving parts, removal or separate packaging of projecting components, accessory identification, wooden-case packaging, base reinforcement, internal fixing, and shipping marks.
Large production lines may be divided into sections for transportation and reinstalled on-site. Customers should inspect shipments for visible damage upon arrival and record any problems before unpacking.
11. Documentation & Delivery Materials
Available documentation depends on the machine model and project agreement, and may include: operation manual, setup instructions, electrical and pneumatic diagrams, machine layout, packing list, accessory list, test video, maintenance information, spare-parts information, and applicable certification documents.
Customers requiring a specific language, document format, certification, or customs-clearance file should confirm this before ordering.
CE & ISO Information
CE-related documentation applies to specified equipment and configurations — not automatically to every machine sold under a brand name. ISO certification relates to a defined company management system, not a product-performance guarantee.
Before ordering, confirm: the exact machine requiring certification, destination-country requirements, issuing organization, certificate holder, applicable standards, product scope, document language, and whether additional testing is required.
Continuous Improvement
Our engineering and manufacturing teams review production experience, test results, customer feedback, and technical-service cases to improve machine structure, operational stability, filling control, changeover efficiency, container compatibility, maintenance access, control logic, and production-line coordination.
What to Confirm Before Ordering
To reduce technical misunderstandings, confirm before placing an order: product characteristics, filling/packaging range, container and closure specifications, label and packaging-material specs, production speed, voltage and frequency, factory layout, utility requirements, machine configuration, sample-testing plan, acceptance criteria, documentation requirements, installation and training arrangements, and spare-parts requirements.
Technical requirements important to the project should be recorded in the quotation, contract, or technical agreement.
