How Does Perfume Bottle Capping Work?

A perfume capping machine secures the aluminum spray-pump ferrule around the bottle neck through controlled crimping. Decorative collars may require an additional pressing process.

Position the Bottle

Place or feed the perfume bottle into the capping position.

Insert the Spray Pump

Position the spray pump and dip tube correctly on the bottle.

Crimp the Pump

The capping head contracts around the aluminum ferrule.

A decorative collar can be positioned and pressed when required.

Confirm the Pump, Bottle Neck and Collar Dimensions

The crimping head must match the aluminum pump ferrule. The bottle neck, shoulder and decorative collar must also provide enough positioning and pressing space.

These are common reference sizes only. The final capping head must be confirmed using the actual spray pump and bottle samples.
